Terms of service

Last updated 19 October 2026. These terms govern your use of InboxClaim. By starting a trial or using the service you agree to them. InboxClaim is a service operated from the United Kingdom; questions go to support@inboxclaim.com.

What the service is

InboxClaim sits alongside your existing shared support mailbox. Forwarded emails become items your team can claim, so everyone can see what has arrived and who is handling it. InboxClaim is not an email client: it does not read, store, or send replies to your customers, and it does not replace your mailbox.

It reduces duplicated and dropped replies by making ownership visible. It does not guarantee that two people can never reply to the same customer, and the link to an original message is a mailbox search reference, not a guaranteed direct thread link.

Trial and plans

New accounts start with a 14-day trial with no card required. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan at the price and seat limit shown on our site for the plan you choose. During this early period, billing is arranged directly with us rather than through automated card payment; we will confirm the amount before any charge.

Acceptable use

You agree to forward only mail you are entitled to process, to use the service for your own team's support coordination, and not to attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it. You are responsible for who you invite and for your own mailbox and forwarding settings.

Your data

How we handle personal data, who processes it, and how long we keep it is set out in our privacy notice. Forwarded message records are deleted automatically 30 days after they arrive. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.

Availability

InboxClaim is provided on a best-effort basis without a guaranteed uptime commitment. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, InboxClaim is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for missed, delayed, or duplicated replies, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using InboxClaim and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or non-payment. On closure, your data is removed in line with the privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
